October U.S. pork shipments climbed to 572.2 million pounds, 11% higher than September and 5.7% higher than last year. This marks the second-highest amount for October pork exports, behind 2020. Pork shipments up through October totaled 5.56 billion pounds, 6.9% higher than last year thanks to large purchases from Mexico.
