California is the only state unable to provide E15 fuel for consumer purchase. However, recent actions by the state governor may make it an accessible option for California drivers.

Direction from Gov. Gavin Newsom to the California Air Resources Board calls for the board to take immediate action on the issue. He also invited legislators into the conversation, encouraging them to examine potential statutory and funding changes that could help accelerate E15 availability.

A recent study from the Renewable Fuels Association indicated Californians could save more than $2 billion if they were able to purchase E15 fuel.
