The Tuesday general election will reshape the House and Senate Agriculture Committees. Two incumbent members. New York Representative Marcus Molinaro and Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown were not re-elected. As of Tuesday morning, many races that had Ag Committee incumbents had yet to be determined.

On the Senate side, Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer won a third term.

On the House side, Representative Zach Nunn holds onto his seat in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District. Gabe Vasquez won a second term in New Mexico and Eric Sonenson is returning to represent Illinois’ 17th congressional district. Angie Craig will serve a fourth term representing the 2nd Congressional District in Minnesota. Jahana Hayes won reelection to represent Connecticut’s 5th Congressional district.
