Over 100 companies want to transform North Dakota’s Red River Valley and the region around it into the global epicenter for ag technology that would mirror Silicon Valley. The branding of the Ag Innovation Corridor has been timed ahead of Ag Tech Week in Fargo. This is a week of events and activities highlighting agricultural technology.

The goal is to attract new ag businesses to the area, promote expansion of existing ag companies and encourage relocation of ag businesses or start-ups. Flint Group Executive Chairman Roger Reierson draws many parallels to what happened in Silicon Valley and the movement in the Red River Valley.

A diverse list of companies driving the formation of the Ag Innovation Corridor represents education, finance, food, livestock, processing, manufacturing, marketing, agronomy, technology, equipment, real estate and ag commodity groups.
