The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued an existing stocks order for dicamba, allowing farmers who have possession to use its products in 2024. The order applies to dicamba that has been packaged, labeled and released for shipment before February 6. The announcements offer relief and reassurance for growers who had already purchased their weed-management products before the court’s initial vacating.

Ted McKinney, CEO of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture says the decision was a productive one and that “incredible havoc” would have ensued had farmers not been able to use what they already purchased.
