According to Politico, House Agriculture Democrats are fighting against ongoing GOP efforts to repurpose climate and future nutrition funding within the bill to boost conservation projects and farm commodity programs. Democrats need 130 votes to pass a farm bill if the legislation moves under suspension and have been resolute in not making any changes to IRA and nutrition programs.
