Farmers in Brazil are facing hot, dry weather and a delayed start to the rainy season, especially in the soybean-rich central and western parts of the country. Soybean planting is moving slowly (five percent planted in Mato Grosso compared to the normal pace of 20% by this week) and many producers may be facing replant decisions soon as long as hot, dry weather holds.
